Boyne Island Motel & Villas is located just 50m from the beach, which extends from the rear of our complex to Lilley's beach, 10km to the North. The beach is great for fishing, kayaking, SUPing, walking and is an excellent spot for early risers to watch the beautiful sunrise.

Bray Park Boat Ramp and Skate Park is located a short 2-minute walk to the south along the Turtle Way Trail, which winds along the Boyne River for over 18 km. The trail is perfect for walking, bicycles and scooters.
Tannum Sands is Boyne Island's 'twin' town, linked by a bridge across the beautiful Boyne River. Both Tannum Sands and Boyne Island offer year-round swimming due to their consistent temperatures.
If it's excellent fishing you're after, throw your line in the river, or a 20-minute drive will take you to the famed Lake Awoonga, where you can try your luck at catching the elusive 'Big Barra' and Mangrove Jack.
